On My Reading List
I've finally gotten back into the habit of reading every night before bed and it's been so nice. I'm definitely addicted to my phone so I always try to set it aside a few times a day (especially when Hunter is here). Making time to read is such an important thing to me, so I like to have a list of titles that I'm currently working on or plan to read next.
Here's what that looks like right now:
Daisy Jones & The Six: I found this the other day on Amazon. They have it listed as their March Spotlight Pick and after reading the summary and reviews I downloaded the Kindle book right away. I started reading it yesterday and it’s very good so far. It’s written in interview format and the characters (band members and their acquaintances) are discussing the rise and fall of the iconic 1970’s rock group, Daisy Jones & The Six.
When the lights go out: I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while so it’s next on my list. The main character, Jessie, discovers a shocking detail that causes her to doubt everything she’s ever known. Has her whole life been a lie or have her delusions gotten the best of her? This sounds so good, I can’t wait to read it!
Gone Daddy Gone: This is book 7 in the Sloane Monroe Mystery/Thriller Series. I haven’t read books 1-6 and this is my first time reading anything by this author so I’m hoping for good things. It is on the USA Today Bestseller List so it should be pretty good. The reviews on Amazon are both good and bad so fingers crossed.
