Daily Journaling Prompts for September {Money Manifestation}
Does it feel like you’re bleeding money? That you no sooner have a deposit into your account when it’s going right back out to pay bills?
If you stress out over money, it’s time to get a handle on your finances, not only so you can live debt-free but so you can avoid these stresses carrying over into your other relationships with your spouse and kids.
If you’ve been keeping a personal lifestyle journal, you already have some insight into how it feels to let go of your problems and stresses inside your journal. The same will be true for your money journal and maybe even to a larger extent.
When it comes to the most common sources of stress, personal financial stress stands at or near the top of the list. It’s difficult to be happy when we’re struggling financially, and financial struggles can lead to other forms of stress that make it difficult to succeed financially, creating a vicious cycle that can be difficult to break.
Financial stresses affect our relationships AND our health so it’s wise to resolve any budgetary problems you have as soon as possible.
While you can (and should) write about random money issues as they arise, for those who haven’t written about money before, this can be a daunting task. Sometimes it’s easier to start off with an overall topic or theme and then create extra journal entries as the mood strikes.
Some common money themes include:
Money tracking journal
Monthly money goals
Where does your money go?
Daily money journaling
Contrary to popular belief, thinking about money does not make you greedy. It makes you a responsible adult to know exactly how much you earn and how much you spend each month on expenses.
Although achieving your financial dreams will take time, journaling the process will give you the motivation and tools you need to start checking off milestones along the way.
Start off your money journaling by getting in touch with your money demons, roadblocks, fears…whatever is holding you back from creating wealth and abundance needs to be dealt with.
Choose ONE prompt each day and dedicate 5-10 minutes to writing your answer. If your time runs longer because you have a lot to write, it’s okay. Keep writing!
Be as creative as you like here…the sky’s the limit!
Now on to this month’s prompts…

JOURNALING SUPPLIES I RECOMMEND
Even though you only need a pen and paper, here are some of my favorite journaling supplies if you want to check them out:
I like to use a few different notebooks for journaling but my favorite is this Leuchtturm1917 Softcover. I prefer the squared pages but you can also get the dot grid, lined, or blank formats.
If you would rather use a spiral binding, these notebooks are the best! I love that they come in a three-pack so I always have an extra one on hand. These are also a squared format but I think they are available in lined and dot-grid too.
To be honest, my go-to pen is a simple, classic black Bic but when I want something a little fancier I use either use these Muji Gel Pens or these Micron Sakura Pigma.
Get creative with your journaling and add some Washi Tape, Stickers, or if you’re artistic you can draw your own doodles.
Sometimes I like to add photos to my journaling and over the years I’ve tried a bunch of different printers. I started out using this Fujifilm Instax Mini but it wasn’t very practical to carry around all the time. Since the quality was so much better when I use my phone for pictures I decided to splurge on the Canon Ivy Mini Printer. It connects directly to my phone through the app and easily prints on 2x3 sticker photo paper that I can add right to my journal page instantly.
I hope today’s post inspires you to pick up your journal and start writing! Here are a few Everyday Journaling Prompts to get you started.
